Welcome to the Junior Section page at Crow Nest Park Golf Club.
First of all, thank you to our Club Captain, Kathy Hitchcock for inviting me to be the club’s Junior Captain in 2026. It’s a real honour to have been asked.
The Junior Section is organised by “the 2 Pauls”, Paul Morrison (“Buffalo”) and Paul Bottomley (no nickname yet, although we’re open to suggestions!). The club’s professional, Paul Everitt, also runs an academy for junior golfers, called “Future Diamonds”. That’s where I started to play golf a few years ago, hitting balls onto our fantastic driving range, and gradually gaining more confidence to go out onto the course.
Between April and October, the Junior Section holds a competition every Sunday morning. Everyone is welcome to play, and the 2 Pauls will help new juniors to obtain their course handicap. We also enter teams into the district golf union’s junior league and academy – these matches usually take place on Friday evenings.
Crow Nest Park is a great place to play junior golf, what’s not to like?
