The bunker on the 2nd hole was filled in as it was poorly positioned. This was seeded and is now in play.
The pictures below are of the removal of the tree stump in the middle of the 3rd fairway. We used the turf stripped from the 2nd bunker project to do this which saved us ordering in turf.
At the time, the turf had been stacked and it had turned yellow due to the lack of sunlight. Many would have thought that were mad laying this turf as it didn’t look great, but with a little feed and water it didn’t take long to turn it around. Many will be unable to see exactly where the old stump was.
