Here we are hollow coring greens which removes organic matter and thatch. It also de-compacts the surface to allow better moisture flow and air space.
Verti cutting after hollow coring – this removes more thatch for firmer surfaces.
Top dressing after this work allows sand into the holes for drainage and creates a smoother surface for for a better roll.
We used a total of 20 tonnes of sand in the autumn for the greens work.
