Gwyn Greenberry, Ladies Section Captain 2016 - 2017

Gwyn Greenberry, Ladies Section Captain 2016 – 2017

A very warm welcome to the Ladies Section at Crow Nest Park.
We are a small, friendly section, with approximately 21 playing members who enjoy both our social as well as our competition matches.

Are you looking to see how to join in?
Our main competition day for ladies is Sunday, but we do have alternate weekly competitions for those unable to play on weekends.
We welcome ladies of all abilities and our lady members are always willing to help mark cards so that new members can quickly get their handicaps and join in the competitions.

Friendly welcome.
There’s a friendly welcome waiting for you in the Clubhouse, which has a relaxed dress code, where you can have a drink and a bite to eat whilst you soak up the great atmosphere and the views over the 9th/18th green. Why not bring your friends and family down and enjoy the dining experience at the “Nest”.

New members always welcome.
We are hoping to grow the Ladies Section this year, with the development of the Pink Diamonds Ladies Golfing Academy which we will be introducing to new lady members throughout the year, together with social events so you can get the opportunity to meet myself and our lady members.

Our Ladies Section have teams in the Halifax and Huddersfield Evening League, ADP League and Winter Alliance, which gives working ladies the opportunity to play different courses in the evening or at weekends.
We hold our annual Am-Am on the first Thursday in May and we also have our Ladies Tri-Am on the first Tuesday in July which are both well attended.

Ladies annual trip.
In August we have our Ladies Annual Trip. This year we’re going to Rudding Park in Harrogate where we play for our Ladies Weekender’s Trophy, which is always a highlight of the year.
