RABBITS GO TO THE DOGS
Friday the 17th February, saw the clubs Rabbit Section hold its annual registration evening. The clubhouse was very busy with Rabbit golfers paying their £5 subscription and registering their interest in being Rabbit golfers for the coming season. 56 Rabbit golfers registered on the night.In addition the Rabbit,s led by Rabbit Captain, Steve Yendley and Rabbit Capt Elect Mike Greenberry, also held a greyhound race night which raised funds for the section. 10 greyhound races were bet upon during the evening with the winning owners and gamblers alike, all revelling in the excitement of the races.The race night raised approx £280 for Rabbit funds.
