Rabbits Section

Hello and welcome to the Rabbits section of Crow Nest Park Golf Club.

Firstly I would like to say, how thrilled and honoured I feel to have been chosen as Captain of the section for the 2010/2011 season and that I will use all of my energy to represent both the Rabbit section and this wonderful club to the best of my ability. I am also delighted to have the very able Steve Yendley working along side me as my Vice-Captain, I have every confidence that he will put in whatever time and effort is necessary to assist me in driving this section forwards.

As you are probably aware the section covers male golfers with handicaps between 16 & 28 and we compete in the HHDRGA League. The target for this year is for us to gain promotion to the top division at the end of the season.

Internal Club competitions for the section comprise of the following:
The Rabbits Knockout
The Buck Rabbit Trophy
The Rabbits Shield
The Rabbit Captains Day Cup
These competitions continue to test the skill and competitiveness of the golfers in this section. I look forward to seeing how, the most welcome new Rabbits get on against the old campaigners. To be able to take part in any of the above, you need to register as a member of the Rabbits Section, the cost is £5.00 and makes you eligible for all or any of the events that you wish to take part in.

I am always open to any comments or concerns that any member of the section may have and urge you to approach me with any of such and I will do my utmost to act on them hopefully with a beneficial outcome for all concerned. I am after all, here to serve the section, not myself.

I would like to thank Peter Horrocks, last years Rabbit Captain for preparing me for this role.
