Juniors Section

I am delighted to welcome you to the Junior Section for the year 2010.
My name is Mark Campbell and I am the Junior Organiser for Crow Nest Parks Junior Section. This year I am pleased to announce that my Assistant for the year is Mike Walton.

As a new golf season begins, Crow Nest Park Golf Club is committed to the Junior Section and it is fantastic to have the support and commitment to junior golf through our members. We also have the commitment of our Club professional, Paul Everitt and our new Junior Coach, Gareth Evans, who will both be working with all our junior members individually& collectively, to develop their games.

We are about to undergo one of its most progressive and exciting periods hopefully giving a successful start in golf to our youngsters.

 As Junior Organiser it is important to start developing at grass roots level and at Crow Nest Park we recognise the importance of nurturing a new generation of golfers for the future health of the game. I also believe that we can help youngsters develop skills for life such as honesty, co-operation, respect, self-motivation concentration and perseverance.

As a result, we have plans to set up a junior starter centre and coaching scheme. We also aim to spread the word through local schools and have a development programme for school golf coaching within the community.
